Barbara Walters' 10 most fascinating people of 2014

Barbara Walters interviewed the most fascinating people of the year. We watched Scarlett Johannson, Neil Patrick Harris, David Koch, and Chelsea Handler. They explained their lives inside and out of the spotlight.

In the 2014 edition, they had many good close ups, B-Roll, and soundbites. When they interviewed Michael Strahan they got good shots of him playing, this relates to what I do in class because I go out and interview athletes and film them while they play. We then use the footage we get to put the interview and game footage together to make an interview package.

Their were many different stories that varied in story telling. It took many different people and their lives and combined it with all the others to make it a long string of many different interviews talking about their fascinating lives.

Getting different angles in interviews. They had close ups on the person getting interviewed, a shot of the interviewer, and excellent B-Roll.

The 6 shot system was used very well in this format. It was incorporated very well while Barbara interviewed the 10 different people.

They used many great and different shots.

It could improve by getting a wider variety of people to interview.

My general conclusion would be it was very good. The interviews showed depth.
